Balance 10 ft. x 16 ft. Greenhouse Silver Frame | Palram-Canopia

I am very happy with the purchase of this greenhouse. The installation on a wooden base was easy thanks to an excellent installation manual. My main concern was, how will it withstand the harsh Saskatchewan winter. To my surprise, even with some heavy snow storms, there aren't any issues. I added irrigation, hydraulic window opener and a temperature gage. This is the first summer and it works great.

The ordering process was fairly simple, shipping was quick and box arrived in good condition. Also, no parts were missing. However, the assembly instructions are the worst I’ve seen and parts are not all numbered.

I searched the Web and found a Canopia « How to assemble » video guide on YouTube but unfortunately, it was not very helpful. Luckily, I’m a very handy, resourceful and patient person so I managed to build it in a couple of days with a second pair of hands (an absolute must)!. My overall rating for this product is 6/10. My suggestion to future buyers, read many pages of the assembly booklet ahead of the step you’re at to understand how it will fit or connect with the next steps. Also, when you’re ready to assemble the doors, ensure you install the windows facing outside because it’s easy to get confused. Good luck! 😓

P.S. I will not be using it as a greenhouse.

A little bit expensive for the quality. Thicker frame material would be great. But overall nice product and the assembly instructions are extra clear.

Imstructions

The finished product is great. The instructions left much to be desired. A few words would have made it much clearer (front, back, left, right). This would have prevented us from putting sections together with parts facing the wrong way. When that happened, it wouldn't become apparent until much further along the process, necessitating the dismantling and redoing a lot of work. Perhaps instructions similar to a certain Scandinavian big box store are in order.

While the instructions were well written they were not well organized and easy to follow. It is obvious they were written by someone experienced in putting a kit together as opposed to some new at it. That being said we did take our time, we are 74 yrs old, and got it done in 5 days. We are happy with the end results.

I found the instructions very vague and not in proper order the measurements again felt like suggestions instead of very accurate the only tool that worked for the bolts was a socket overall I'd give the greenhouse a 6 out of 10 for the price and quality

Just finished setting up my Balance 10 ft. x 12 ft. Greenhouse with a silver frame and clear & TwinWall panels from Palram-Canopia. I'm blown away by the quality and how spacious it is! The dual panel types bring in the perfect amount of sunlight while insulating my plants. The customer service was top-notch, guiding me through each step. Highly recommend this greenhouse for serious gardeners!

We were able to build the greenhouse before the snow fell. The directions were pretty easy to follow, though some of the diagrams were not as "clear" to understand as I would have liked. Looking forward to planting vegetables in the spring.

I purchased this greenhouse a few years ago and has held up well in our Northern winter. The problem is it lets out a lot of cold air around the door as it is not very airtight. There is a gap of about 1 inch at top of doors and also not airtight at bottom of door. It takes a lot of heat to keep it warm with these gaps. Otherwise it is great!

This greenhouse must be called Balance because it really is the best balance of everything I wanted. Not only does it look beautiful, it is soooo spacious and has been the perfect home for all of my plants, vegetables, and tools! It's really well ventilated and incredibly sturdy. Thank you to Canada Greenhouse Kits for the excellent customer service, they have been so helpful answering all my questions and have been easy to reach every time I need them.

Now that I've had my balance greenhouse up for a few months I feel I can give it a proper review. To start, I was very appreciative of the service from canada greenhouse kits. I had questions both before and after making the purchase, and their team was so helpful and friendly. I was a bit nervous about the assembly process, but with some help it actually wasn't overly difficult. We mounted it to a wooden base as recommended, and it's been very stable. The true test was some really windy days the other week, and it held perfectly, so I'm not worried about that anymore. I added some shelves to make the space really functional and I'm so happy with how accessible everything is. I would recommend the balance greenhouse to others. As an avid gardener, I was on the fence for years about investing in my very own greenhouse. This past year with everything going on in the world and spending more time at home, I finally took the leap and I could not be happier. I absolutely love my balance greenhouse. It is so spacious, holds everything I want in it and more. Thank you so much to the canada greenhouse kits team for the excellent service. I also ordered some accessories (trellising kit, work bench, and drip irrigation kit) that have all been amazing in my beautiful balance greenhouse!

There’s waaaay too many steps, you need two people and it took us over a week to complete. Way too many hours dedicated to deciphering the steps, numerous trial and errors, assembling and disassembling.

I normally do not write a review.
With that said I wanted to thank the staff of Canada greenhouse kits for their excellent knowledge of the Palram Product line.
They answered all of my questions in a professional timely manner.
I am not disappointed with my purchase and would highly recommend this greenhouse to my friends and family.

We had a few bad snow storms in the last few weeks and I am very happy to report that our balance greenhouse is still standing with no issues. this is our first winter with the greenhouse in our backyard and we are happy with how it is holding up. started planning out what we will be growing this year and excited to add a bunch of new plants 'soon-ish'

Very pleased with our 8x12 Balance model. Built it on a new wooden deck 12'x16' to ensure level base and room to secure the anchoring kit. Also got the metal and plastic shelf kits. Everything is really well designed for a precise fit, although some of the instructions could use a rewrite for clarity in the diagrams. Only issue we had was getting one of the front doors to close properly, solved that by creating a bolt-type locking system into the front threshold. A simple and easy fix that should be offered as an option with the kit. Now the door shuts tightly and will keep out blowing snow when that stuff appears in a few months.
